Submission requirements
The journal's policy is to ensure that the research described in articles complies with moral and ethical principles and standards. To achieve these goals, we strive to assess the ethical aspects of the presented works.
All procedures describing experiments involving humans and animals must be conducted in accordance with the bioethics standards declared in the relevant laws: Declaration of Helsinki of the World Medical, Association European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrate Animals used for Research and Other Scientific Purposes, Article 26 "Rules for the treatment of animals used in scientific experiments, testing, educational process, production of biological preparations" of the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Animals from Cruelty" etc.
Authors must conduct research in such a way as to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to minimize harm to participants, prevent coercion or exploitation, protect confidentiality and minimize the risk of physical and psychological harm.
The manuscript must clearly reflect that informed consent has been obtained from all human subjects.
Research involving animals must be conducted taking into account the implementation of the 3R principles: 3R is generally accepted ethical basis for conducting scientific experiments with the humane use of animals: Replacement - the use of methods that do not involve animals; Reduction - methods that reduce the number of animals used; Refinement - methods that improve the condition of animals through the use of anesthetic and non-traumatic methods.
Experimental studies conducted on humans or animals must be approved by the ethics committee (commission) of the scientific institution on the basis of which the study was conducted.
Declaration of interests
When submitting an article, authors are responsible for disclosing all competing interests that may affect their work (financial or personal interactions with organizations, commercial companies related to the article). All authors are required to disclose potential conflicts of interest that may be perceived to have influenced the results or conclusions presented in the paper.
Information about conflicts of interest should be disclosed at the end of the manuscript (before the list of references) in the "Disclosure of Information" section under the heading "Conflict of Interest". If none of the authors have a conflict of interest, it should be stated: "The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest".
Disclosure of sources of funding
Authors should indicate all external sources of funding for the research work (grants, subsidies, donations, medical companies providing equipment, medications, and/or other support that contributes to the conduct of the study or writing of the article). It is important to describe in detail the role of sponsors in the design of the study; collection, analysis and interpretation of data; decision to publish the results; preparation and finalization of the article. If the sponsor had no such involvement, the authors should indicate this. If the study did not have financial support, the article should state: "The study was not sponsored." Funding information should be provided at the end of the manuscript (before the reference list) in the "Disclosure" section under the heading "Funding".
Informed consent and patient information
If you are participating in a patient study, you must obtain written consent from all patients who can be identified by images or videos in your manuscript. Formal consent is not required for the use of completely anonymous images in which a person cannot be identified, or for the presence of informed consent contained in medical documentation.
