Abstract

The research is devoted to the investigation of dissociative symptoms that contribute to the outcome of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in female individuals who have been displaced. Data from an investigation of 88 respondents were analyzed according to scales that examine the level of traumatic stress and the presence of dissociative symptoms. It has been proven that PTSD is associated with a high level of dissociative symptoms in female IDPs. The findings indicate that PTSD in Ukrainian women is complex and requires special psycho-corrective intervention
